This is why that list was created, this particular problem has been a problem since I first joined and desperately needed help with Darbi's sores on her heels but couldn't show anyone what was going on. And even with another list, we've filled up the photos section there 3 times and had the same problem with accessing it so we unfortunately had to put a sort of moratorium on posting pics there under personal albums. See, once it's over quota no one can access it other than a moderator. So this is why we've asked members not to post to the photos section on the other list unless it's an *educational* (and I use that word loosely, because interesting is also educational) photo. I would however love to have a picture of Dr. Dobbs new brace in our photo library there as it should be a place where new members can come and get a good eyefull of the most important things to see. We've seen Dr. Dobbs new brace once but I don't believe we actually put it into the library there yet. So if you're not a member, please subscribe at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CFPics/ The subscription information is a little old and needs updating but still fairly accurate and the little survey that is sent to you upon subscription is our way of making sure no wackos are on the list looking at our little one's feet. So send that back to me after you fill it out and you can then send emails to the list with attachments and share photos to your heart's content :~} Oh, we also like faces and families too! If you would like to post a photo of Dr. Dobbs brace in the library I think there's a folder there called FAB/DBB or *braces* (something, I can't even remember what I did), please can put it there. If you have two views, one with a good shot of the bottom or the *bar* where it hinges together that'd be great too. What we're trying to do is just have that area be a library of pictures that are helpful for CF patients and parents and we can see faces and families in the emails as attachments as much as we want. It'll just work out better that way and I hope everyone understands. I have made some folders named for different subjects and if you've got a picture that you think would be helpful for someone to see you may feel free to post them in the appropriate folders. Or if you've got a photo and there's no folder we can create one for that subject. There have been a few wonderful pics of Dr. Ponseti with babies recently, I think we should also have one folder just for pics of Dr. Ponseti :~} Thanks! I hate that the pictures area always seems to be at or over the limit as well, but I also don't think we should have to delete ALL of our pictures all the time. Just in case you aren't aware, your personal yahoo group allows you unlimited photo storage as part of its services. Go to http://photos.yahoo.com and check it out. I don't know much about Yahoo or it's services...never used it until I joined this group. I will check out the photo storage.Tell me, do you have copies of your pics stored on your computer too? Like in " my documents " , I wouldn't want to loose any of my pictures (I do copy them onto disk, but not until I have enough to make a decent disk full).
