Guest guest
Can't you see someone else from orthotics. I don't want to sound like a panic merchant but he might get blisters or something? We had problems with the padding at the heel, fortunately our orthotic lady - Camille noticed and fixed the problem. I know in Australia, if I ask for advice from the receptionists they are not at liberty to give any incase it is the wrong advice. Good luck, I'm sure there are lots of experts in this group who will help you. Guest guest
does she have the new Markells with the padding on the inside and enlarged heel pocket? If so, she very likely doesn't need the plastizode. We don't use it and everything is fine. We actually had problems with the plastizode at first with rising up heel and sore and.... yuck... The new shoes were designed to be able to eliminate that insert. You might just take it out and see how she does? If you wonder what shoes you've got, the easy way to tell is to check for the seam on the inside of the heel. If you see a seam, you've got the old style that need the plastizode. If it's totally smooth leather, they're the new ones.
