Guest guest
I am glad you got to see your little squiggle It does help to put the mind at ease for sure. you can web search about fibroids and see what it says but I think it is a common thing that isn't really that big a deal. I also think if the doc was very concerned she would of said so right then so try not to worry. Good Luck with everything. Guest guest
Hi , Congrats on your pregnancy! I have fibroids, mainly one large one (about the size of a small orange) on the back wall of my uterus. During my last pregnancy I had a little bit of complications. What had happened was at about 30 weeks, as the baby started to get bigger and putting pressure on the fibroid, I had extreme pain. I ended up in the hospital twice. The first time they sent me home not really knowing what was going on. The second time, they actually did their job and investigated and found the fibroid. Apparently fibroids can grow during pregnancy because of all the hormones etc...Anyway, I ended up in bed for almost 2 weeks because of the pain, and then as suddenly as the pain came...the pain left! It was quite strange. Of course, this is just my experience and from what the docs said, it was a rare one. Alot of people have fibroids and experience no problems at all. Talk to your doctor more about it. Im sure everything will be fine Lori D. vbg 7-23-02 -114 EDD 9-23-
