Guest guest
I got a phone call from the hospital. They are taking over my care after they said I could go back to my regular doctor...They want me in tomorrow morning at 7:30 for blood tests, another ultrasound, and hospital intake. It seems I may have more to worry about than they led me to believe. I am a nervous wreck. In the meantime my mother in law is calling and asking me about making some baby clothes for the new baby. I bluntly told her its too early to worry about that, baby may not get here and if something goes wrong with my blood disorders Mommy won't be here either. I am just very stressed out! Guest guest
We've only had 9 or so positively confirmed Swine Flu cases in Oz. Until this week they've all been returning air passengers but NOW there has been 2 confirmed cases where there has been no OS travel involved & there is no know obvious path of infection. So the Genie is officially 'out-of-the Bottle' now. I'll have to give serious (as opposed to playful) consideration to doing the MJ number when the Hubby & I fly to Melbourne on 5th June for a Family Wedding. Melbourne appears to be the place most affected so far. We're moving into Winter & Melbourne is the Capital for Cold's n' Flus every winter. Gosh I'll need a colour co-ordinated Hanky to match my Wedding Outfit ( a japanes Kimono Short Jacket & slinky pants) I wonder how the Bride will look....a whole new Wedding Outfitter's Creative Phase coming up! Glammy Black Hankies for the Groom & his party...matching their Bow-ties mebbe! All of the Waiter's at the Wedding Brekkie will need to have Crisp, White, Starchy lookin' Hankies to look like 'Pro's. Anyone want to go into the Hanky Business with me...need to source a varity of plains, patterns & ethnically interesting Hankies...URGENTLY! Hippy Hankies...Elegant Hankies..Hankies for Church..the Race Track..the Sporting Field....matching YOUR Team's logo & colours...the Disco scene...Clubbing...Vegas.... HEY THIS could be the way OUT of the global economic doldrums for somebody..why not US! We could call it "Hankies GALORE"...... Let's take the World from THIS to THIS>>>>> (OK now JUST concentrate on the GOBS...all attitudes of Violence are intended only towards certain little BUGS......i.e. current paper mask practice make people feel good but are as about as effective as doodling on a bit of Paper for all the bug containment they are capable of!) GIO/SGIO > >> > Well folks believe it or not it seems that I may have H1N1 (swine) flu. My flu screening came back positive for Type A. Guest guest
MB... what unwelcome news about you! At least you got to the ER quickly. I guess we all just have to wait and see what happens next.... God is with you. MamaSher; 70, IPF 3-06, OR. NasturtiumsDon't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! More news Well folks believe it or not it seems that I may have H1N1 (swine) flu. My flu screening came back positive for Type A. So now we wait for confirmation from the CDC regarding yes or no for H1N1. Since we're out of the season for regular Type A the pulmonary Fellow and the attending on the unit seem fairly convinced that it will be positive. We'll see. Regardless I'm still feeling better than yesterday and I've already had two doses of Tamiflu and two days of Avelox so I'm cautiosly optimistic that things will continue to more along in a good direction. And I can hear you all wanting to ask me if I used a mask this weekend. I did and in addition went through a 16 oz container of Purell in three days. I suppose it's just one of those things. Something I didn't want but here it is. Hope everyone is feeling ok. Beth Moderator Fibrotic NSIP 06/06 Dermatomyositis 11/
