Guest guest
Oh CHrystal, I wish I had an eating problem like yours. I eat and get full fast enough but I am hungry ALL THE TIME. I am constantly needing to pick at something. I think you will be okay as long as you are eating the small meals throughout your day. Guest guest
Chrystal, I am 12 1/2 weeks and haven't gained anything as of yet but I am noticing that my pants are not fitting me as well. I don't think I am ready for maternity clothes as of yet but I guess I should invest in some stretch pants. I am not too worried about gaining weight but at this point I am wondering if I am going to gain anything at all and if my baby will be okay if I don't gain any weight. I do eat more often now and trying to eat healthy so maybe everything will catch up. Best wishes to you!! DE
Guest guest
I am 12 weeks pregnant and have actually lost about 3 lbs since I first found out. As long as the scale doesn't go down, I think I'm okay. My pants don't fit as well either and I feel myself opening the button a lot. My doctor thinks it's fine as long as I eat as nutritionally healthy as I can so the baby can get the vitamins and minerals he/she needs. I think that this pregnancy is the best thing for my weight loss, cause I don't look at calories...I look at Vitamin A and B and calcium. Funny how that works huh? Guest guest
Chrystal, You sound just like me, lol... except that I am 12 weeks along. I am almost 13 months post and 12 weeks along. I sit down to eat, feeling absolutely starved, and can only eat a few bites before I'm uncomfortably full... like (as you said) those early post op feelings. I wonder if it isn't the extra space in our abdominal cavity getting filled up that makes our hunger dissapate much sooner. I've lost 9 lbs since finding out I was preggie which isn't necessarily a disappointment, but I don't imagine I want to lose much more (I'm about 13 lbs to goal which I'll happily work on AFTER the baby is born). Funny thing is that before November I could hardly loose a pound each month, lol. I definitely can't wear my 10's anymore. They just won't button, and I'm tired of using rubberbands to expand the waistline, they pinch, lol. Hmmm... wonder if any of the post WLS pregnancy pro's have any idea why we feel full after eating just a tiny bit. Toi
