Guest guest
I went to a Repro Endocrinologist BEFORE my RNY and she is the one that suggested that I have WLS. ( i had 4 miscarriages before and had not had a cycle in over a year) She did some blood work and when nothing came back as out of the norm she suggested I have WLS. So, my guess is blood work and meds. Good Luck! Josie

Guest guest
has anyone been to a reproductive endocrinologist? I have an appointment tomorrow and was wondering what to expect. I had open RNY on 12/9/02 and I have lost 118lbs and I am at my goal weight, give or take 2 pounds. I have been trying to get pg for 3 months and went to the GYN a few weeks ago because I have been off the pill since December and my period has not come at all. I knew I was not pg as per home pg test. She did a bunch of blood work and found that my FSH and my Estrodal (spelling??) where both very very low. She referred me to a reproductive endocrinologist. I was just wondering what was going to happen?? Any help is appreciated.
Guest guest
they should also ask what if any other exams/tests or procedures you have had and the results of them (HSG/laparoscopy/laparotmy/D&C or hysteroscopy). If you have seen any OB in the past, it may be worth your time is possible to go and take a copy of your records with you. Sheila
