OMG, MY HUBBY IS TOO FUNNY.LOL... In case you did not know we own a tattoo

shop here in Plattsburgh, NY " Mad Pup Tattooing: anyways, I asked my hubby the

GREAT tattoo artist what he thinks about it and he says that he thinks in the

earlier months that it is fine but in the later months he is afraid of

stressing the pregnant woman and putting them into labor, LMAO, how dingy is

that. So

I said " What the hell are you t lking about " and he changed the subject to

say that he thinks it is safe, hims4elf personally, but some tattooist will

not tattoo a pregnant person in case something should go wrong with the

pregnancy and they try to sue the tattooist saying it is their fault. So I asked

him

if he would tattoo me at 21 weeks and he said OH YEAH, NO PROBLEM. Sooooo, I

think the answer is yes. Damn, it was like pulling teeth without novicaine,

LMAO, he must of needed a coffee.... I am getting my arrms retouched myself. I

am

almost totally sleeved out and want them redone ssooo badly. i have a really

cool dragon with a crystal ball that goes up my whole forearm that we started

september 12th, 1988 for my birthday and the darn thing never got done, paying

customers come first, lol,,, so now the whole thing is going to have to be

retouoched when I color in ther est so it looks right and I have a large tiget

on

the side of that one that will be next. I think I will start getting mine

done this week or next so I can have it done before the hot weather comes and

the

kids are out of school.....

Most tummy tattoos do stretch from what I have seen. I really advise not to

get one until the baby stuff is over. I seen a girl once who had a cherry done

and it had stretched out when she was a pregnant and now looks like a really

ugly apple. Not a tattoo from our shop but i still cannot get that tattoo outta

my head when this question is asked. i think those little flowers on vines

that go around the navel are ssooo cute and delicate too but I have never had a

cutsie kinda a stomach, well not since I was like 15, so I don't think I will

ever get one of those. i did pierce it one time but ended upt aking that out,

pierced my nippes 2 times and took those out for my WLS and never put them in

again and I am NOT going thru that again to pierce them again....

Wow, you guys just continue to keep me on your site by no default of

your own as I am not pregger yet! I myself love the art, but

compared to what you are talking about, I am an amatuer. I have 3

and want more! My question is, tell me about the tummy tattoos, do

they stretch with pregnancy, do they go back, what is up with them, I

have always wanted one around my belly button but have heard both

versions on once pregnant. So, Robin, with your expertise, what can

you tell me?

I want half sleeves and need my tattoos on my arms reworked but I'd like my

batwings removed first (extra under arm skin). The one on my wrist can safely

be done now because my wrist could not possibly get any thinner...It's 5 inches

around......and is very boney.

Also the one on my ankle needs to be reworked and taken all the way around.

I have my nose pierced and ears....but nothing else. My hubby used to have his

nipple pierced when we met but took it out because people always were thinking

he was gay and he didn't like that.

The man I want to redo my tattoos had gastric bypass too. He was a commercial

graphic artist and weighed over 400 pounds...he said when he lost the weight he

would follow his dream and did. His work is beautiful.

All my tattoos were done when I lived in California....so I have yet to get any

here in Massachusetts.

Where is Plattsburgh? We have friends in Rochester is that close?
