Guest guest Posted March 9, 2004 Report Share Posted March 9, 2004 Lori, I have never been to an AA meeting, but if there is a way you could go with your friend, you can apply AA principles to any addiction. You would be there in support of your friend, and be gaining support and knowledge to help you quit your addiction. Addictions are tough to overcome. I have a few professional (well, used to be professional) friends that have lost their nursing licenses over Vicodin and Demerol. These are 2 people that you never would have ever imagined would have a problem. Again, hang in there!! We're all rootin' for ya!!
