Guest guest
HI everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. I had Gastric Bypass 12-31-02, so I'm alittle over one year out and found out this week I am 6 weeks pregnant (surprise). I also have PCOS and have tried to get pregnant with clomid before and it never worked. I am super thrilled but so worried that I'm not getting enough vitamins. I started out at 346 pounds and Im now down to 180pounds. I take 2 flintstone complete, 2 calcium, 1 iron, 1 folic acid and 1 b12 each day - does this sound like enough? I go see my new OB doctor tomorrow. I talked to my surgeon and he said I shouldnt be considered High risk, but they would have to watch my nutrition closely. Is there anything I should make sure to ask my new Doctor tomorrow - I have never met him before - I just want him to be totally informed on my condition (I am unsure if he has ever had a bypass patient before). Thanks - I am so happy to be here, I am worrying constantly that something will go wrong though! - Thanks everyone Kristie - 28 years old, married - cheesehead/WI
