Hi Sally, I'm sure I probably have some. Collin has always used

the red bar, with the shoes that are screwed into it, not the kind

that clip on and off. Is you daughter near a Shriners? They don't

charge for the shoes or brace. I'll look tonight and try to get

back to you then or tommorow.

Hello,

I have a pair of 1m and a pair of 3m markells with 2 gold bars to go

with them. The 1ms are in great shape, the 3ms are really worn but

could still be used. Let me know if you want them I don't want any

money for them.

My daughter is in Southern California. She has applied to Shiners

for help with the shoes and braces, but hasn't heard anything. I

think part of the problem is that they have to take Logan to a

military doctor. Anyway all items would be appreciated. I will

forward to her. Let me know the cost involved for the shipping.

Sally, just wanted to pipe in here....if the reason that your

daughter has to take Logan to a military doctor is because of

insurance, she may be interested to know that the Shriners treats

children for free and as far as know, covers the brace as well as

part of the treatment. Switching to Shriners may be something that

she could think about. There are probably a few here that have some

experience specifically with Shriners in CA that could let you know

which doctors are practicing the P method.

FYI the only shriners Dr. that is on Dr. P's list is Dr.

Lerman at Sacramento Shriners. And since she is in California she

can also look into CCS (California Childrens Services) There is an

income level that you have to meet, but I know being in the military

they don't make all that much LOL, my husband was in the military

for 5 years before we had my daughter. With CCS everything

associated with the qualifying condition is FREE, it can be a pain

at times to get all of the necessary referals, and I believe that

you can pick about any doctor, I am in the process of looking for a

new local one and as soon as I find one I will let you know

Hi Sally. My husband is military also and my son sees Dr. Cassidy at

Balboa down here in San Diego. I have size 0,1 and 2 shoes that they

gave me. They are the older style markell without the buckles. We

ordered the original shoes through Hanger and I know that Triwest

doesn't want to pay for them but you can make payment arrangements.

Gavin just went into the bigger bar without the clamps so I have the

hardware and 10 inch bar too. Please email me if your daughter is

interested at all since I'm in her area. (NASNI) Coronado.
