We're actually doing our adoption the opposite of most....We're starting the

process with the intention of adopting a baby with clubfoot. We still need

to decide which country and fill out all of the paperwork, then get a

referral. So at this point I don't know which baby, but I will definitely

keep everyone posted!

Hi ,

It turns out that there are always clubfoot children to adopt in whichever

country we would like to adopt from, at least according to our agency. For

example, in China, I have seen figures that there are 1,000,000 children in

orphanages, 80% have some type of special need (cleft lip/palate, clubfoot,

spina bifida, heart conditions), only 10% of those are adopted...

I just saw your note about adopting a clubfoot baby in your signature

line!!!!!!!! CONGRATS! Do you have an actual child selected, or are

you just intending to adopt and waiting for a clubfoot child to be

available for adoption?
