well I understand the tube site in new but they are a lot more sturdy than you would think. Particularly if he has the button. You could try not hooking him up to the pump until after the fit? I know how it is to get in a pattern and then have to break them...we deal with this with every child but especially my autistic one...its so hard...its like having to wean them from eating at night when they are babies...enduring the crying for a few nights and then they get through it.
