Guest guest Posted March 28, 2004 Report Share Posted March 28, 2004 I have learned about a program which makes groceries available monthly to anyone -- no questions asked -- no income requirements -- none of those things that usually disqualify anyone who has one thin dime left in their pocket!! It is called Angel Food Ministries and is available in 18 states. I (and half of the people I know!) have gotten it during the past several months, and it is a great program! I don't cook -- but it is such a good deal that I buy the food anyway and give most of it away! I think their intent is to provide enough food to feed a family of four for a week, or a single senior citizen for a month. This month I got t-bones, pork loin, chicken country, ribeyes, country ribs, sausage, cooked roast, biscuits, apples, potatoes, a Mrs. 's pie, various frozen vegetables, and I don't remember what else -- for $59.00 -- and all excellent quality!! I thought some of you might be interested in pursuing this - if it is available in your area. There are no requirements -- simply order and pay for the food by the deadline date, and pick it up on the monthly delivery day! Makes for a really price effective and tasty way to fed the family a few meals!! In case someone may wonder -- this isn't spam!!
