Guest guest
Wyatt's feeding tube site is looking infected. It has a growth like or maybe pulp like looking thingy coming out of the hole where the tube goes in. (Can you tell I'm not an english teacher ) I'm not quite sure how to explain it. It looks like extra skin, but not really. It is grayish red looking. We wash the area twice a day and tonight I put bacatracin on it and then covered it with an IV gauze. He was sensitive to me cleaning it but not when I put the bacatracin on it. Any idea what it is? or what I should do? I've heard others mention granules, I think, but not sure if this is it or what to do. Any help is appreciated.
