Does travel cause 'illness'?

Have any of you noticed that travel can cause mito kids to get

sick? It always seems like Sheldon gets sick after we travel and

I'm wondering if he's not actually sick with an illness but maybe

it's just the mito causing symptoms because he's so tired. Two

days after we made a 2 1/2 hour day trip to see my parents last

week Sheldon was sick with a 104.5 temp and diarrhea and then

a cough. Can fatigue cause a fever with these kids? Sheldon so

often has a temp around 100.3 but I think his 'normal' temp is

much lower than that. Is the travel itself more than his body can

handle? Dr. has said that any stress on their bodies is

tough on them. We've been so careful with him since he was in

the hospital, keeping him home and away from germs and it

always seems like once we relax the restrictions he gets sick

again and doesn't do well for his teachers.
