Will you be staying more than a day? If this is your first visit I would think you would be so I would love to meet you and your kids if you want. We will have a full day on the 10th but are free after 4:30 PM so Tuesday evening would be free for us. We see several doctors there. Dr. Renaud is one of them. She is awesome. Asenath has been one of her hard cases so if you mention her name, Dr. Renaud would know her immediately. She is very thorough and will seek advice from others if needed. Asenath has needed a team effort so she also sees an adult rheumatologist and an infectious disease doctor for the vasculitis issue. Dr. Whiteman is her geneticist from Mayo as well. He is our hero as I have probably said many times. We also have done many tests at Mayo so we have seen other doctors as well, but these are our main doctors. this time, we will be seeing Dr. Whiteman for Luke (15), Asenath (3), myself, and possibly Zipporrah if she needs to be added. Asenath will also see Dr. Renaud on the 10th. Then, I will be doing several tests including blood/urine tests, a holter monitor, electrocardiogram, and an echocardiogram to make sure my heart is working properly as I have had palpitations and arrhythmias since my last 2 months of Zipporrah's pregnancy. Have a safe trip and try not to overdue it. Are you driving or flying? We live only 3 hours away so it isn't too bad of a trip for us. We will be staying in a hotel somewhere in Rochester on Tuesday so we can get to a 7:30 AM appointment on Wednesday. Let me know if you have any further questions about Mayo.
