Guest guest
We actually do think she may have CP. The signs are all there. She has left sided tightness and posturing of the arm tight against the chest most of the time. She also doesn't move that side of her body much. She loves to play facing her right side but just stares towrd the left side with little motion and it seems so hard for her to just face that way so I think she has neck tightness also. She had jaundice for almost 6 weeks very very yellow but the doctors told me not to worry about it (on the phone!) and I felt helpless because everyone kept saying it would improve. It finally did after she became dehydrated at almost 6 weeks when she had the RSV. I am miserable wondering if I allowed her to get this because of too high of a bilirubin count. I read that a high bilirubin can mean lactic acidosis could be an issue. I just can't believe we are having to deal with this. The gaggng/excessive air swallowing/reflux issue is enough, but CP maybe too? I am VERY anxious to see Dr. Whiteman. By the way, did you say you are going to Mayo near the 3rd? We may have an earlier appointment for that day.
