It is soo nice to have a group of people who understand truly what I am going through. I do have one more question. I just found out that I have a goiter and my thyroid is 2x the size it should be. My levels are all fine. I go to the endocrinologist next week. The genetic dr. thinks what Madi has could be from my side of the family. Is there a link w/ mito and thyroid problems. I have been seeing people talk about thyroids in some posts lately. What should I be asking the endo dr next week? From my 1 st post I talked about the muscle biopsy that is the next step for us since all Madison's labs have come back normal. Should I recomend blood work next time she is sick?
