Gentamicin question/please help.

To everyone,

I know that aminoglycoside antibiotics are mito toxins. I believe

Gentamicin eye drops are commonly prescribed for pink eye. Leanna has used this

many times in the past for pink eye and has been fine. However, that was way

before a mtio diagnosis. I think she is developing pink eye. By tomorrow I will

know for sure. I am trying to be ahead of the game. Is Gentamicin eye drops

dangerous to mito,

should they be avoided. If so, then what is a safe for pink eye? I appreciate

help from all of you. Thanks so much.
