Hi I was wondering if anyone has heard of this? my daughter, breana,

is 4 years old.. She is still undiagnosed they think she may have

mito but, when i ask the dr how sure he was he said about 80%. my

mother in law lives in texas and seen an artical in the news

paper...here is the link

after 3 years of test we have gave up on a diagnosis and just

decided to make her comfortable, but now i am wondering if maybe we

have given up to soon. there was another artical i read that brought

tears to my eyes here it is

i have done some research on this and found out that she has not

been previosly tested for this (5 lumbar punctures but none sent to

baylor) i also read that sometimes these children get a diagnosis of

mito...not sure how many children have this but if anyone has any

more info please send it to me...i am trying to make the decision on

whether or not to go foward with the testing

thank you
