The only thing I can think of is that the doses of carnitor or coenzyme

Q10 might still need to be increased. The last time Emilie saw her mito

doctor, he said the latest thinking is that a much higher dose of CoQ10

is needed than the experts used to think.

Leah is about 31 lbs. and this is what she takes for supplements. We got

some of these were at first approved by her metabolic doctor and nutritionist

and when we added some we ALWAYS checked first with the nutritionist and she

would do research for us and then ask the doctor and approve them. We found

a diffference in Leah's energy level and possible autistic behavior when we

added the DMG. Leah takes B50 with vitamin C; 1/2 tablet of B100 (twice a

day) Siberian Gingsing (and it's not called that any more because it's not a

true gingsing) liquid carnitor, vitamin E (100 mg) biotin, DMG and I think

that is it. Some days Leah's energy wanes (especially at preschool toward

the end of a busy day) but since starting the DMG in April we've noticed a

difference in a few things. As some one else pointed out some times these

supplements makes a difference in children and some times they don't see a

difference. But discuss with your doctor on what is needed and what may be

added.
