Guest guest
Shirley, I also listened to it and found it very encouraging. It was encouraging to hear from a family with such a strong faith and how they dealt with it. It really struck me when they said they had prayed for so long for God to heal Jill and then realized he wasn't going to do that. Then, they took it upon themselves to find a way to take her disability and find a way to help others. They sounded like a really neat couple. My only wish is that they would have talked more about Mitochondrial Disease in general. Can you imagine how many people listen to that broadcast and how many millions of people could have found out more about this disease? They said they will be on again in the coming month to talk about their ministry so maybe, it will come up again. We can only hope! Kim - Mom to and Lindsey Re: Dr. Dobson-Focus on the Family QuestionHi ,I believe you gave the correct link. I think the January 27th airing of the Pastor and his wife (The Solomons) is the correct message. My friend said the child had seizures, etc. and that the father is a Pastor. So now how do we get to the place where we can listen to their message over the internet? I found a batch of Saturday listings, but am not sure how to get to Tues. January 27th's message. Do you know if there is a way to do this? Thanks, ShirlP.S. How are you doing today? On Saturday, January 31, 2004, at 12:32 PM, LILQT4U1984@... wrote:Shirley, I didn't hear that one either, but would be very interested to know as well. Guest guest
Hi Kim, I agree with you totally. My girlfriend may have some ideas on how to get more information on their broadcast about mito dz. She had a situation that caused quite an uproar in her community and public school system that she was even contacted by Focus on the Family (among many other stations, etc for interviews). Well, it was a girlfriend who told me about the broadcast because she heard the diagnosis of Mito--so at least it is a start. Praying for you and your girls.
