Guest guest Posted March 22, 2004 Report Share Posted March 22, 2004 Hi everyone, We are also gearing up for back surgery, and I've been reading the posts about not using tylenol, although I can not find literature on that specifically - why you shouldn't use that is you can avoid it with a child with mito? Can anyone give me a website/literature that discusses that? Is advil/motrin ok to use? I've used both with and always thought the tylenol makes her a little worse, but can't say for sure as we use it when she is sick to begin with.... but if there is literature about this I might strictly stick with the advil/motrin type of pain relief after surgery.
