Guest guest
hi geri-anne I just wanted to give you a little more info re: medication for the granulation issues. my daughter had a lot of problems with this at first and the doctor would use the silver nitrate sticks ... but for our daughter it was very painful and did not really work well........so, we were then given a cream (triamcinolone acetonide cream) and it did the job. now, i just put a clean split gauze under the button daily and that seems to work. so, if the silver nitrate doesn't work for wyatt, you can inquire about the cream. good luck. bethany mom to brennan 7, palmer & anna grace (leighs) 4 > Wyatt's feeding tube site is looking infected.
