Guest guest Posted February 2, 2004 Report Share Posted February 2, 2004 Greetings all, Haven't communicated in a long time, but just want to pass on that is currently in hospital, (in Toowoomba) as of yesterday. He has had an increase in his seizure activity in recent weeks, with a corresponding reduction in his ability to open his mouth and swallow properly. It would appear at this stage he will have to go to Brisbane to have a PEG put in, something that we went to Brisbane for investigation back in November, but the specialist felt was not warranted at that time. He has got an infection probably as a result of aspirating food, and is on IV antibiotics, and masked oxygen, to keep his blood oxygen levels up.
