Guest guest
I forgot to mention that some of my frozen muscle tissue was evaluated using electron microscopy. The lab here wasn't able to do this testing due to budgetary constraints. I was just wondering if anyone knows what the following means: " several fibers show increased peripheral staining on trichrome stain. This may represent accumulations of mitochondria. Suggest correlating with clinical presentation. " I don't have a follow up visit with Dr. Tsao for a few months and am just interested what this means if anything.
