Dark purple circles under eyes?????

has had dark purple circles under his eyes most of his life,

almost 5 years old. They never go away, just get worse with just the

slightest cold. I know this is something very minor. Yet it makes

him look very sick all the time. He does have Asthma and we take

Pulmocort and Serevent. He also has allergies and takes Claritin.

Never proven with a test.

Is there anything that we can do for him? What would cause this? Is

it a Mito thing? Sorry for soooo many questions, I just thought

maybe someone has been through the same thing. Thanks for all your

help!!!
