Darla:

A thought for you to digest. If Porrah has trouble nursing still, you may

want to consider getting a pump (insurance should cover this as a feeding

issue; I know we got one because Leah had a cleft palate and couldn't nurse)

and consider getting a habermann nipple. There is no " sucking " to get the

milk out of the bottle. There are three lines on the nipple and the longest

one makes the milk come out faster when pressing on that part of the nipple.

Leah still uses a habermann bottle and she is 5 years old. She only will use

a cup at school and not at home.....yet. I know we need to work with her on

that one. But that way Porrah won't be swallowing air and trying to get

enough suction to pull the milk out. And she will still be getting your milk

in to her. Just a thought.
