Guest guest Posted February 25, 2004 Report Share Posted February 25, 2004 , Did you eliminate the lymph nodes? They will swell as a result of infections and are very slow to shrink back down. Did you eliminate " chillbains " . These are very painful but seem to be effected by temp. Usually they shrink fast when you are warm again but some of the responses in mito kids seem slower to change. The apparent size change could be due to temp. change. Did you eliminate dermatitus? Contact allergies are very difficult to trace down but sometimes a change of detergents washing your cloths can cause lumps/bumps/rashes. And not being an alarmist but cancer doctors are very good with lumps as they are the ones who eliminate the benign from the malignant. They might be able to send you toward the correct doctor. I can't see where an orthoped.(bones) would be the right doc. Good luck with your detective work.
