I had a reaction like that earlie in my illness, i would even swell and turn red, with it all,, the epi pen i was given didn't work,, they gave me shots , nothing seemed to work, and they made a phone call i don't remember to.. but they said to give me IV pepcid and within mins everything reversed.

And that happened several times. I found out it was Jello.. well what thickins jello. And its in a lot of food you don't think of.

I don't think you're being paranoid. I'd get it checked out. The ER docs were right to want to do the EKG. Go get it done, and at least you'll be able to rest.

Inshallah doesn't quite get it-- Inshallah had given them tools and brains to best treat the patient--it's like the "they sent 3 boats, the water is rising-- and because we're "Inshallah"-- we don't get onboard.
