And if it increases autism awareness, so much the better. I think it is important for the " rest of the world " to realize that there is a place for autistic individuals to contribute and participate in society. And Boone's work is amazing. It is fabulous modern art, and for me, represents all that is good about the autistic mind - - that amidst the chaos, is order, elegence, and great beauty. It is extra special since we share the ASD journey. The thing that has always TERRIFIED me about autism is how you basically have to turn your kid over to the state once they become adults. That is, if they are to receive benefits. And how would Boone feel about that? The clocks could end up selling for large sums which could be set up in an account for Boone. I love his clocks, and I'd buy them in a heartbeat....a Boone clock to replace the boring one I already have, prints for my kitchen and bedrooms, and books for Christmas gifts.
