Guest guest
When Dr. Cohen did his first evaluation of Grace they spent a long time studying her facial features. They made many comments about her eyes/eyelashes, and other features. The Drs. commented that her ears were flat and had a nic at the top. At first I thought they were crazy, but I guess it is some of the hereditary signs. I am learning new every day about this crazy disease. Guest guest
Zipporrah has several traits about her that are abnormal. Her left ear at the top seems to look sewn down rather than have the curved edge, her second toes (nearest the big toes) stick up higher than all the other toes, and she holds her thumb under her index finger and over the middle finger. Her eye lashes are getting longer but due to the red color can't see them well, but Asenath has very long eye lashes. I know that Dr. Whiteman also looked at Asenath and was commenting on her fingers and etc. when we first saw him so I am very interested in listening to him examine Zipporrah. Darla: mommy to Asenath Re: eyelashes and other characteristics When Dr. Cohen did his first evaluation of Grace they spent a long time studying her facial features. Guest guest
This is hard to describe in words but I will try. Picture a "normal" ear. There is like a lip or flap around the top of the ear. Grace does not have that, her ear is flat. Also around the top, but more to the rear of her ear there is a little dent in the ear. A normal ear is sort of half moon at the top where hers is almost like the number 3. Hope this helps.
