Guest guest
Isn't it nice when a doctor actually listens to a parent's concerns and follows up on that concern and not pooh pooh your thoughts? Good luck with it all. Say there is a good book out there called The Sensitive Child. Can't remember who it is written by; but boy does it fit our son. It is written by a doctor and I need to get my copy back from 's old 4th grade teacher. You may want to read that in regards to . Nerenhausen mom to Leah albregra@... wrote: Thank you for the advise. It's very reassuring that your son is OK and going through the same things as . I did take her to the DR last night and she has a lot to offer her. First of all she ran a fasting blood sugar, just to see if it is hypoglycemia or any other problem. She also wants her to see Dr. Cohen, just to be safe. Also she is enrolling her in a headache clinic at Cleveland Clinic. She said they will first of all try to help the headaches, and then figure out what is causing them. I was told they usually put them on a low dose of Sinequan twice a day. This is supposed to help, I guess they have a lot of success using this. I also believe, like you do with your son, stress is a major issue for her. She is a very emotional child, and she worries a lot. Sinequan is an antidepressant so maybe this will really benefit her. Best of luck to you and your family. Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.
