The Ill and handicapped waiver or brain injury waiver are plans that the government provides for children such as ours. It provides in home services, nursing care, medicaid, medical equipment, home improvements for handicapped children, etc. (For instance-they just bought Asenath's wheelchair.) Talk to your local Department of Human Services and ask for applications for one. It is a lot of paperwork and time, and it can have a long waiting list, but once on it, it can really help in many different ways. Feel free to ask further questions if you have any.
