Guest guest
Hi everyone , miss u all, expecially on the MDA chat aka (robsgirl), well Mattman (age 7),is going to have minor oral surgery tomorrow. The surgery itself is not a problem, but being MH (malignant Hyperthermia)is!! So if you can just give a moment of silence or a prayer tomorrow he and his family sure would appreciate it. Matt is calm, cool and collected at the moment, he's very good about medical procedures. and I and his siblings are the ones freaking out inside. He's never done well with anesteshia, and after he comes out of the anesteshia the nightmare isnt over, vomiting, fever, seizures, dehydration and muscle cramps. And it takes a long time for him to get well again, it seems like with each surgery or even illness a little bit of what Matt achieved (that the docs didnt think he'd ever do) disappears for awhile, and its harder each time to gain back. Anyone elses child or self have that problem? One good thing is the surgeon and doc says Matt can come home the same day if he doesnt have any complications, because of the over night nursing that he receives. I'll let you know how things work out. A nervous mom and family. Barb
