Guest guest
Hey Irish, Thanks for the well wishes. My ortho and his assistant break out the springs for me when I have stubborn teeth, so that's the next phase of treatment before the dreaded fixed wire retainer. " We'll make it fit " is their usual mantra. I'm not too upset, really, people have a lot worse things going on than my little wayward tooth. Funny about the temp thing - first words out of my mouth in the recovery room post-op were " Hot! Hot! " and " Change tape! Change tape! " (the latter for the surgical support tapes I used). I used to suffer from the cold too, but post-op that seems to have changed for me, I tolerate it much better. Not that I'm out in a t-shirt at minus 30 celcius, mind you! Take care, good to see you around again. > Hi ! > You are useful here, but more than once in a while, I can assure you of that. > Yes, I'm surrounded by cool-winter-loving folks and sometimes wonder what my problem is, not enjoying the cold season. Must have to do with the fact that I'm always cold, all year round. Always. Big Daddy Irish and I are always fighting about temperature control, in the house, in the car, you name it! I remember both surgeries ... one in the dead of summer mid-July and one in the dead of winter end of January and both times freezing in the hospital with those danged thin hospital gowns. I'm always cold. Desperately waiting for spring. > > So sorry to hear that you flunked Retainers 101! And here I thought you were a pro at this stuff I remember way back in the day how a bunch of us used to mentioned " stubborn and offending teeth " . Sounds like you have one, now. Best of luck with that. > Irish
