Guest guest
Dear Alix, Thanks for ur comforting response it helped to know that I am not alone that someone else has experience equilibrim problem due to the jaw being off. I was happy to hear that surgery has solved ur problem I know their are no guarantees in my case but it does give me hope. I cannot tell you how many Drs have told me that the jaw has nothing to do any eqilibrim problems breathing earaches etc. I had told one Dr how my breathing as greatly improved since having braces for past 2 years. He told me it was pure coincidence. He was an oral surgeon. Glad he is not operating on me, what a putz. Have you ever gotten the go see a shrink because it must be in your head from a Dr? I was wondering since I am about to have very similiar surgery to yours if u cd tell me a little about ur experience. How swollen were you after surgery? How long did it take till you wanted to show ur new beautiful profile to the world? When did you notice a differnce in the weird feeling of your jaw coming in when in ur face when u were lying down go away? U mentioned that u are still wired after 5 wks I will be wired for a similiar time. How difficult is that experience? Since we are both have only a relatively small movement of 3 mm as I was told by my Dr the healing process should be short in relative terms. Do your bones feel like they are healed at this point? U mentioned that it is difficult for u talk? Is that normal. I am teacher I guess I should not go back to work probably for about two months. I know everyone is different but I just wanted to get a general idea of what to expect. Anyway I am glad to hear that u feel like ur jaw is finally in the right position. Even if it's telling you hey what did you do to me. I wish you the best of luck in ur healing. Wish me luck tommorow. Thanks again,
