Guest guest
I appreciate all of the information passed along to me, when I inquired about what to expect from the post-op period. I over ate during the holidays with the fact that I was going to have this surgery in mind. My surgeon advised me to cook and plan ahead, so this week I'm making my soups and freezing them in one cup containers. I'll leave Southern CA early, so I can also cook pre-op in Texas to prepare for the post-op eating. Will the hospital send home a syringe or something to eat with? I have been advised not to eat or drink any dairy products for one month prior to surgery. Did any of you have the same pre-op requirements? Is this to reduce swelling? I understand about drinking plenty of water prior to the surgery. Do you have any further suggestions. I promise to pay back with my own saga of the post op experience. I joined Site2 to have access to photos. However, I haven't received authorization to access the files as a member. Is this a long process? Wishing all a safe and healthy healing and recovery period, ann
