chipped teeth from bad bite

I was wondering if there are any of you who have front teeth chipped

from having a bad bite. Mine were niether over bite or underbite,

but top teeth on top of bottom and have chipped. Would they crown my

teeth before putting on braces or wait until after surgery. I am

getting insurance in April and then going to a ortho. I have known I

need surgery for many years, but until I found this group I thought

there was no hope that insurance would cover it. I thank you all
