Guest guest Posted March 25, 2004 Report Share Posted March 25, 2004 I had my jaw surgery on the 16th of March. I got my splint off on the 23rd. I had the splint on for a week and now I have the binders on. My question is. . . my jaw is always creaking and popping around every time I move my mouth, is this normal? I had my top jaw split in two and that seems to be whats moving around. . . how can a bone heal correctly if its always moving?? I just want to know anybody else early on could tell that their jaw was moving around? I would just call the doctor and ask, and I still may. . but I have been in touch with them every day this week and i just wanna give them a day off from me.
