Guest guest
Hi, I had lower jaw surgery to correct an underbite about 10 months ago. I am very happy with the results. It is an amazing feeling to have teeth that fit and work properly. For many having lower jaw surgery, including myself, the nerves get temporarily traumatized and pain will not be felt. But it's also likely that your doctor will prescribe you some painkillers in case you do feel any pain. That is great that you were so thorough with consulting all the doctors. I also do believe that the benefits of the surgery outweigh the risks by orders of magnitude. Have faith in your docs and we'll do our part in sending you the good vibes! cheers, on > Hello All- > I am scheduled to have lower jaw (Class III underbite - is what I > have) surgery in the next 2 months.
