Is it important to you to use the same surgeon you had before?

In any case, I would suggest that you consult with several different

orthos and surgeons, show them the records of your case, and ask what

they recommend. Preferably, include a dental school you respect

somewhere in the mix, if you can. Get someone who's done a lot of

this sort of work, and listen to what the suggestionsi are.

Probably you'll get at least two different ideas about how to do

this. If not, so much the easier the decision for you. If so, at

least you'll have some options to consider.

I have no advice about what to choose. This sounds complicated beyond

my ken. But get the best advice you can, and then sort out the

risks/benefits for you.
