I made an appointment with my 4th orthodontist for next week. Plan on bringing up the topic of surgery after it with my parents. I've seen about 3 orthos in my life and all of them had suggested surgery as a possibility, but only an option. I know it's lame, but I do have an inferiority complex because of the way I look. I feel like if I have a strong opinion about anything, people are ready to disagree. Maybe it's all in my head, but maybe it's not. Anyhow, I think having surgery would give me greater self-esteem, and I don't see anything wrong with that.
