Guest guest
Hi. I have been having pain in my right shoulder (kind of across my colar bone) for about four weeks now. It all started when I was sleeping elevated for so long after my jaw surgery. That's the only thing I can think that might have caused it. I'm sleeping normal now, but the pain hasn't gone away. It's very painful when I get up in the mornings and when I'm working. I'm wondering if any of you have experienced this. I had pillows and things stuffed under my mattress to keep me elevated, and it's possible that it wasn't evenly elevated. Do you think my pain and the elevation are related? Should I see a doctor because this is really getting old?? I'm not sure if I've strained a muscle or what is going on, but it hurts. I've tried a heating pad, and it seems to make it worse. On the other hand, a hot shower seems to do the trick. I can't stand in the shower for several hours a day though. Does anyone have any suggestions?? I'm sorry I know this is not really a jaw related question, but I want to know if anyone else has had a similar problem. Thanks!! --
