Greta - how's it going? Any improvement? I forgot to mention that the

BRAT diet also calls for eliminating all dairy products. I hope you

haven't been drinking milk or eating cheese!

Hi there Neil and others:

Thanks for asking about " my digestive system " . It's been almost 6

weeks now (3 weeks since the bands came off) and I'm still struggling.

It's getting better for sure - but I have a ways to go. Per your BRAT

diet comment, I have been following it - but I have been eating a lot

of dairy though (milk w/oatmeal, yogurt, very soft cheese etc) so I'll

cut that out and see what happens. I've also " upped " my metamucil

significantly - to 3 doses a day which helps - but as soon as I

decrease the dose - I'm back to the drawing board.d

I have an OS appt. today and will ask her - and if she has no new

advice I think I'll call my regular doctor and go for a visit to see if

there's anything else I should be doing. I guess I just never figured

our digestive systems are this affected by an all liquid diet.

Again, thanks for asking. Greta
