Guest guest
Just got back from the Ortho today. My lower jaw still has spaces that need to be closed. They are really tiny spaces. But he says that teeth on the lower jaw move much more slowly due to decreased blood flow, and I'm looking at another 4 months!!! Originally I was told mid-May, and now's they are saying Mid-June to early July!! Just for some stupid slow moving gaps to close up! Arrgh! At least now, they are seeing me monthly rather than every six weeks. I'm getting power-chains changed monthly now. But why can't they do it every 3 weeks instead? I really wanted this done soon, so I'd be mostly healed by end of summer!!! Oh well.
Guest guest
It's tough to wait, I know. ;~) But you really don't want those teeth to move too fast. You could have root resorption and damage your teeth beyond help. And for sure you don't want surgery before you're ready for it. So sigh, vent, and try to be patient. Nothing about this process is speedy, in my experience. Cammie > Just got back from the Ortho today. My lower jaw still has spaces > that need to be closed. They are really tiny spaces.
