Guest guest
Just got back from the Ortho today. My lower jaw still has spaces that need to be closed. They are really tiny spaces. But he says that teeth on the lower jaw move much more slowly due to decreased blood flow, and I'm looking at another 4 months!!! Originally I was told mid-May, and now's they are saying Mid-June to early July!! Just for some stupid slow moving gaps to close up! Arrgh! At least now, they are seeing me monthly rather than every six weeks. I'm getting power-chains changed monthly now. But why can't they do it every 3 weeks instead? I really wanted this done soon, so I'd be mostly healed by end of summer!!! Oh well.
Guest guest
Look at it this way, you'll have at least one surgery buddy. Mine is scheduled for June 22nd at this point. My ortho is even having my appointments at 4 week intervals instead of 6 weeks ones to insure we meet that date. Plus, the more 'fine tuning' we get done now, the less there is to do when we are 'on the other side'. Dammit > Just got back from the Ortho today.
