Guest guest Posted March 20, 2004 Report Share Posted March 20, 2004 HI ALL, now 10 days post op and still progressing each day. manage to open my mouth a bit wider which is making talkin and eatin a lot easier. I am still havin trouble sleepin but had a reasonably good night last night. The swelling has gone down considerably but my cheeks are still puffy aswell as my bottom lip which is making me look a bit like a chipmunk. Also my nose is more turned up than it was before surgery. I am hoping this will change along with the swelling. Did anybody elses nose change considerable after surgery? There was one issue i was concerned about. it may sound quite trivial but i was just curious as too how long it is before you are able to kiss properly. My boyfriend came round today and it was really hard when all he could kiss was my forehead.
