Guest guest
Irish! You are so right in that what works for some may not necessarily work for others - and the most important thing is staying hydrated and getting some nutrition in. My little diatribe wasn't meant for people who are only on a liquid or blended diet for a short period of time, those people would survive (but not necessarily heal optimally) even if they drank nothing but water for up to about 10 days. It's those who are wired or banded shut for anywhere from 2 to 9 weeks who require supplementation. For those whose significant others () or parents are carefully planning menus and cooking and then blending whole foods, supplementation may not be necessary. But then again it couldn't hurt! As far as 'artificial' goes...most people don't know how to read labels correctly and fail to realize that many of those scary- sounding ingredients are actually a form of vitamin or mineral! Hope all is well on your end and you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Cheryl
