Guest guest
Some parting thoughts to all those considering orthognathic surgery: research the pros and cons of the type of surgery that you are contemplating from many different sources, ask a lot of questions (especially from those people who do not have a vested interest or financial incentive in going ahead with it), and do not go into this lightly. Ask yourself if it is really worth doing or not. The jaw is a very complex area of the body and one that is used constantly. There seem to be some people on this site who would prefer to be polyanna about the surgery and are dismissive of those of us that have had serious problems after the surgery. I have found some of these people's attitudes to be immature, disrespectful and rude. I hope that this message helps someone from going through the hell that I have gone through, and continue to go through from going ahead with this surgery. Good luck to you all and god bless.
